The service

UK Car Check provides digital MOT history risk reports for UK used car buyers. Reports are based on MOT history data and rules designed to highlight potential warning signs.

What the report is not

• It is not a mechanical inspection
• It is not a HPI check
• It is not a finance check
• It is not a stolen vehicle check
• It is not a write-off check
• It is not a valuation
• It is not a guarantee of vehicle condition

Using the checker

You are responsible for entering the correct vehicle registration. If you enter the wrong registration, the report may relate to a different vehicle.

Free preview and paid report

A free preview may be shown before payment. Where useful MOT history signals are found, you may be offered a one-off paid report. If the MOT history is clean according to our rules, a paid report may not be offered.

Price

The current full report price is shown before checkout. At the time these terms were prepared, the price is £2.99 for a one-off digital report.

Digital delivery

Paid reports are delivered digitally after successful payment. Access is normally provided immediately on the website and may also be emailed to the email address provided during checkout.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to provide useful information, but we cannot guarantee that all data sources are complete, available or error-free at all times. You should use the report as one part of your buying decision.
